A millipede on my arm

Only the second amphiban I saw in 6 days in the Amazon (first was a cane toad)

Very neat shots. I can see the mantis and grasshopper in the Brazil nut picture. It must have been teeming with bugs.

Looks like you had a super adventure there in the Amazon.

I don't think I would have picked any of those critters up.

It was quite good for insects for birds and mammals not so good. There are quite a lot of places IMHO which are better in Colombia than the Amazon.
In case anyone is interested they are
The llanos (plains, lots more birds and mammals similar but not as good as the Pantanal in Brazil)
Choco (like the Amazon but on the coast so you might see whales and or turtles as well)
Cloud forest, pleasant climate and easier to see birds particularly Sierra Nevada on the Caribbean and Santuario de Otun)
Mocoa on the outskirts of the Amazon but cheaper and much easier to see Monkeys.
