Kit Upgrade

Been looking to upgrade my gear and was looking for input. I have a 5dmkII, 17-40L, tamron 35, nifty 50, and 70-200F4L.

I know the old advice of glass first, but trying to decide between upgrading the body to the MKIV

or

Sell the tamron 35 and put the proceeds towards the 24-70 2.8L

I use the 35 and the 50 the most so seems like a toss up to me.

Thoughts?

If 35 is used most, why sell it?

I would go for 6D, keep 35 and get 50L.
