Hello,

I am an ebay seller and am currently using a 2 light setup for taking pictures of the clothing/products that I am selling. I would like to know if there is a better alternative to what I am using.

Canon 6D

2 Strobes (2 Yongnuo 565 EXII) - Just bought a YN600EX-RT II since one of my flashes was making the batteries very hot.

2 Stands w/ shoot thru/bounce umbrellas

Impact Collapsible Background

Here is a link to my setup: https://imgur.com/a/fp8LG11 (external link)

I didn't know where I should post this, so please feel free to move it.

Thank you!

If you like your photos then the set up is fine.

If you don't like your photos, you need to say why. And maybe provide some examples so we know what you're trying to fix.

Your link goes to a pic of a duck.

I’ve had a lot of luck using a beauty dish on clothing, leather and other textured surfaces. Brings out dimension and pop imo.

The pictures in my opinion look fine, but I wanted to simplify my lighting because it takes too long to set up. I have heard recommendations on using a beauty dish. Do you have any samples of what your shots look like with one?

Here are sone of my shots:
