Hi team,

I'm off to Switzerland with my BFF/wife in a few weeks - yes ... it will it will be just after midwinter (~0'C/32F) and we will be travelling for a bit of 1/3 skiing and 2/3 indoor outdoor travel and a lot more of city exploration.

The (full frame) Canon 5DMkiii will be coming along and I'm hoping to take just one or maybe two lenses. I've found that in the past I just tend to carry one along in a day pack as two can become a bit too weighty and inconvenient throughout the day. Having said that, I might just take two should I get the chance to get out and actually take some shots out on my own.

So I have these lenses in consideration:
17-40mm f/4
24-70mm f/4
24-105mm f/4
100mm f/2.8
70-200mm f.8

I'm strongly favoring these two just now:

17-40mm f/4
100mm f/2.8

I may throw in my Canon 1.4 teleconveter for the 100mm f/2.8

Thanks!

I have a CPL and a LEE Filter set that will be coming along too.

Unfortunately they don't fit on the 100mm I have.

Sebastião Salgado's Genesis exhibit is running in Zurich at the moment. Well worth a look if you have some time in the city.
