Fixed-Lens Photo Challenge #014: Hands

This week’s topic: Hands. A few ideas among the many possibilities: lend a hand, handshake, holding hands, handiwork, show of hands, hand over hand, handout, a handful, idle hands, hands at work. Just to be clear, such words and phrases needn't be titles. They're only suggestions about ways that images might fit the topic.

To submit, click the button labeled "POST TO THREAD" and put your photo title in the first line of the post, above your photo. Your camera brand and model must appear in the post. Include additional EXIF data, if you like.

Enter just one photo.

Post until Monday noon GMT, 28 January 2019.

Rules

1. Camera: Any fixed-lens camera, all brands and models. Cell phones are also included. No DSLRs!
   
   
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible except photos that have won other POTN competitions.
   
   
3. Size: Photo must be no less than 800 pixels and no more than 1600 pixels on the longest side, with no borders.
   
   
4. Postprocessing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
   
   
5. Photo Display: Photos must appear in this thread to be eligible.
   
   
6. Commenting: Please title your photo. No commenting or descriptions on photos by anyone, including the photographer. (Please, also no Likes until winners are announced.) Once the winners are declared, photographers can add comments to their images and everyone is invited to discuss. The host and others may also post photos after the winners are announced.

An interesting picture: it shows something that most of us don't get to see. At first I was concerned for the little bird, which would probably prefer to be somewhere else. Is this banding? Well lighted and well shot.

Nicely composed "action shot." Rather dark and blurry. What's good about that? Well, it conveys an impression of relaxed, casual enjoyment.

Thank you, OhLook, for the honor of 2nd place. Yes, that was taken at an Audubon bird banding and the ornithologist is an expert at handling these little guys. Congrats to Don and Trumper! Ow ow Maureen, what did you do to yourself?!

Uh-oh. I'm not familiar with the Pentax line, but it looks like Don's camera is a DSLR, which disqualifies the shot from the fixed-lens challenge.

I also had a watch image I almost entered, but then I remembered the rule against using photos that had won previous contests and I seem to remember that my watch shot had won before.
