I never noticed the slightly sarcastic message on post submission, but I like it. Also just got this today.

I have always liked putting little 'personalized' messages in my software when I can get away with it, so I really appreciate this.

Actually that might be an interesting thread - actual error messages people have put in there software. I have several along the lines of 'Really? Negative velocity? OK, stop pissing around and get back to work'

Here's one message most people will never see: it happens when you are writing a post, log out in another window/tab, preview the post -> get a popup to ask to click a link to login again, but instead log in again in another window/tab and then click that link.

.

I like the messages, too. . . They give the software a fun and interesting personality.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I have composed entire messages, hit preview, then forgotten to "submit" (to my master) before closing the tab.

Come close to suicide as I realize I just wrote my most epic post ever, and when I reopen said thread, wonder of wonders, AMASS remembers my "epic tome"

I love these little, slightly sarcastic messages. They're fun and quite unique to POTN/AMASS.

Pekka, what happened to the one that we got when we (of course!) accidentally hit the Like button on one of our own posts? It would say something like "Fan of yourself, are you?" or something similar. It always made me laugh. :-P

I liked that one, too. I was sorry to see it retired from service.

Maybe Pekka needs instead, "I'm glad to see you don't hate yourself for what you wrote, but we cannot show others." :p

Unfortunately, it appears that one does not even get presented the opportunity to Like one's own post any longer, so such responses are obsolete.

Just saw this one:

Studying our Rules

For a temporary ban. :-P

I love it. Is it new?

I'm pretty sure that one was there as soon as AMASS went live. ;)
