Reason for selling: working towards moving to a M6 or M50 mirrorless. also have another copy of this lens.

the good: super lens on my 5D3 (also for sale, here: https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?​p=18784325 ). very clean for its age. im not sure of its age, i bought it here in 2012 or 2013 and used it on a T2i before moving to the 5D3.

the bad: it got dropped while IN my camera bag from a couple of feet

the BETTER: i had Midwest Camera Repair in Wyandotte Michigan go through it. they performed the following work: Disassemble lens, repair lens focus mechanism, clean and lubricate as needed. Repair zoom mechanism and focusing helicoid, check diaphragm, reset focus, reassemble and test. $295 ($287 labor, $8 parts). the repair bill will be included with the lens
