Feb 04, 2019 17:55 | #4 I wonder why the 24-70 is coming when they have a 28-70 (and yes I am aware there is a one stop difference and IS)...

Some people prefer having that extra 4mm on the wide end so would be something smaller than the 28-70mm that also covers that popular FL. DreDaze happy with myself for not saying anything stupid More info | Feb 04, 2019 19:00 | #7 i do wonder if they are going to drop any budget lenses...that rumored released of the $1500 new R camera doesn't really make much sense if almost every lens available is $1,000 plus...i guess you could just use the adapter with the EF mount lenses...i'm starting to really wonder if that replacement to a 7D is coming this year... TeamSpeed 01010100 01010011 More info Post edited over 4 years ago by TeamSpeed. | Feb 05, 2019 13:21 | #10 Once the EOS R is available on the refurb store for less than what this new model will list at will be the time when I will pick on up, just for fun. I need a 5D4 style camera, but can do some gigs with just a single slot, I don't need double slots for everything I shoot, like family and senior portraits, home studio shots, etc. However, I will likely use EF lenses still just because I will wait out the current RF prices, they will fall eventually. Feb 05, 2019 16:13 | #13 PermanentlyThis is great news for me, because it means there will be a flood of really nice used DSLRs and EF lenses onto the market, when their owners decide that, all of a sudden, they can't produce great photos any more. 5D3, 7D2, EF 16-35 f/2.8L, EF 24-70 f/2.8L II, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF 70-200 f/2.8L II, EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF 1.4x III, Sigma 150mm macro, Lumix LX100 plus a cupboard full of bags, tripods, flashes & stuff.
