These are from Bromley
A caterpillar with I guess a parasitic grub on it. I found this in my house so I don't know what its foodplant is but probably bramble or hypericum. I have never seen or heard of this happening to caterpillars but I have heard and seen spiders with this.
Has anyone else seen caterpillars like this?

good variety; caterpillars are better known for having grubs eating them from the inside out after being parasitised by wasps.

Good ones- interesting selection. I've not seen a caterpillar with an external parasite like that before.
