Not sure about the actual wind speed. They appeared to me to be near gale force when we headed to the dock that morning. After waiting about 2 hours for them to get under way the winds had subsided somewhat. It takes a good clip though to get up on the foils like that.

I might add also that the boat capsized shortly after these photos were taken. No physical injuries.

Very cool - hope to see these live in 2021...

(if they don't capsize 'em during training, they won't know how hard to push during a real race!)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Here I am ordering parts for (many) thru-hull replacements and the boat's been out of the water since October (it freezes here :-) ). So this was a nice surprise.
