Great West Athletic Conference Track meet in Scott City last week. A couple of milers sit at 1 and 2.

You've captured peak action. The focus is perfect and the exposure is fine but why are we looking at the back of the woman (camera right) with the clip board? Shoot tight, crop tighter. The 'Wow' shot is of the first two runners. Even if you want to capture the 3rd, 4th, and 5th place runners the image needs to be cropped on the right and top. Draw us into the action with a tighter crop.

Thanks. I was a little short on lens for this shot. I needed a bit more zoom. I have already cropped it to get this photo and was afraid I would start to get too much noise if I cropped it any further. For this race, I wish I had the time to switch the 70-200 for the 100-400 for the finish line shot
