here is the prom this morning I used the SLOOH Lunt LS60 in the Canary Islands, not great quality as it is just 3 png files stacked but it lets me see the sun in real time even when it is raining here.

so here is my capture from today

There was a really large prominence on the sun today, the earth would be about the size of the large triangle on the edge of the sun in the middle of the edge.  Millions of tons of plasma shooting off into space.    Lunt ED100 refractor, Quark Chromosphere, ZWO ASI174mm.  50 frames out of 1,000 stacked.

AR2818, 2820, 2821 nice sunspots today but horrible conditions, 20-30 mph winds, very unsteady air.

Happy mother's day to all, hope you have a wonderful weekend or memory of your loved ones!

I was able to get a little sky time this morning, a quick 20ish minute session. Seeing was fairly good this morning with a much smaller temperature delta as my summer weather is rolling in after a weird cold snap in early May here in Florida. AR2822 presented in photosphere and the upper & lower chromosphere at the same image scales.
