Discolored silver

I have some heirloom silver from my mother. When she gave them to me, she said they needed a polish. Personally, I think the discoloration on this fork only makes it look better.

The second image is the same with the orange yanked out; I love how rich the color on my butcher block is except when I shoot on it. That makes it look even brighter than it really is.

I agree that the discoloration adds some interest to the fork.
