Oklahoma winters can produce very interesting, and often unique, images. Last week I was driving by our local lake on a cold, clear morning and discovered a magnificent hoarfrost had covered the trees near the lake. I only had one lens with me because I had gone out to shoot birds and did not expect to find beautiful winter landscapes. So these are made handheld with a Canon 70-300L - all the time wishing I had brought some other lenses.
