105mm f/2.8 & 105mm f/1.4

I have a quick question regarding the two powerhouse 105mm lenses.

I bought both in the same day, somewhat unintentionally. I had planned to get the 105mm f/2.8 VR Macro for details at weddings and the 85mm f/1.4 for more portraits at weddings but I got a deal on a 105mm f/1.4 that I couldn’t pass up so now I have both.

I know the macro capability really makes them different but I was wondering if any of you actually own both and use both of them regularly? I’ve heard so many amazing things about the quality of beautiful photos the 1.4 pumps out but am wondering if it’s too much overlap and if I’d be better off with an 85mm f/1.4 for diversity.

I would just stick with the 105/1.4 and sell off the 2.8, unless you have some strong need for a macro lens (like doing macro shots). Since you already have the 105/1.4, why bother with the 85/1.4?

I have the 105mm f/2.8 for macroing and find its too much lens for merchandise shots (jewelry etc).
I've since bought the 60mm f/2.8 and find it suits my needs for macro photography much better.
