I am going to start selling some prints...

I currently use a pro 100 and have been printing for family but want to step up to pigment inks for selling.

I can get either one of those printers used from reliable sources that come with some ink and a full set of OEM refills for 300.00 or 150.00.

What are the differences in print quality BETWEEN THE PRO 1 AND PRO 10 I would see coming out of the printer that would set one apart from the other?

looking for real world advice. The INTERNET (which is always right) says very close in quality.

Nikon D850 and a bunch of stuff, I have learned a lot here when I was shooting Canon, staying to keep learning..."Every time I set up I learn something new".

I just started printing on a PRO-100 and have found two excellent resources, in addition to the fine folks here, for printing info.

On YouTube there is Jose Rodriguez (external link). He has hundreds of videos on a variety of printing topics including reviews of printers.

There is also a dedicated printing forum, PrinterKnowledge.com (external link).

Unless you anticipate high volumes, I'd suggest trying another Pro.

The Pro 1, 10 and 100 are good printers, I think Miller Pro is better. https://www.millerslab.com/home (external link)

Disclaimer: Our low humidity climate is not good for printers unless they are used almost daily.

I have the Pro 10, it prints great and it does not clog on me, I sometimes go many months without printing and I live in the Desert where it is usually very dry, well except for this year so far.

Canon printers laugh at low humidity, although they drink a lot of ink while they're laughing.

Have had a Pro-10 Printer here for six years. Still running great. Had not used it for almost a year due to construction here at home and also switching from Aperture to Lightroom. Did a Nozzle check with printed report. The very first print was spot on.
Was looking at a Pro-1 as well at the time of original purchase. However the availability of inks was not as readily available as the PRO-10. Plus the cost of each cartridge was 15 compared to about 35 if I remember correctly. As I was new to printing, convenience and being able to grab more ink that same day was important to me.
I may grab another one for our second home as printing allows us to see a nice final result. I enjoy it.

I have the PRO-10 and love it... I see no real benefit of the PRO-1 over the PRO-10 for ME.

That being said the larger paper size and bigger ink tanks of the PRO-1000 would make it my choice if I had to do it over again but I just don't print enough volume to justify spending that much money and labs can get larger prints to me in a few days if I need them.
