Just got this email from Canon.
I send my gear to VA anyway, but hopefully this will not overload the folks in Newport News.

Mar 11, 2019 23:32 | #3 Sad, I wonder how many Canon techs will lose their jobs. When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.

I just queried the Canon USA web site for service center closest to NJ (for 5d Mark IV) and came up with Newport News, VA. No mention of Lyndhurst NJ. How did you determine that Lyndhurst facility is open? yeah, I gots some stuff.

I was on the Canon Professional Services site. It listed only the Lyndhurst facility in NJ -- used to show both.

I noticed this the other day when checking to see what products I had registered.
