Lr6 (6.14) is still serving me quite well, but the day will come I need something new. Possibly Luminar, possibly DXO, possibly ON1...

I no longer use Lightroom 6.14. I currently own DXO Photolab Elite, and ON1. While ON1 has a larger feature set, I find I get far better results in Photolab, and in much less time.

I am using DxO Photolab now, as well, and really like the results. I tried ON1, but didn’t really care for it. I had still been using Lightroom 6 for my Canon M50, but DxO finally added support for that camera

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it may be yours.

The global editing UI looks easy enough to adapt to, but the local editing UI looks like special effects from a movie lol...

The Local Editing In PhotoLab Elite has been ported over from the Nik Collection and expanded. Its a feature that is being updated over time. Its very effective in use but may take a bit of time for some to get comfortable with. I use it all the time and look forward to DXO expanding its functionality. As I said PhotoLab may not be everyone's cup of tea.
