After having such warm winter weather in the rockies, the temperature sharply dropped to -20c on this morning! It feels especially cold when you aren't doing much moving, just standing around waiting. Patience pays off though, because I got my clearest view from this spot, I got sunrise colors, AND I got a train! :)

Thanks for watching

Beautiful scene, but very happy to see it in pictures and not be there.

Haha well thanks so much, but are you sure you don't also want to stand around in -20c? It's a fantastic time! :)

Great work there Kaitlyn. I especially like the added touch of warm sunrise on the sides of the mountains, too. Very unique train shot.

That is awesome. Sadly when i was in Calgary for work in Feb 2018, I only had 1 day for myself and went to Lake Louise. I had no time for anything but capturing a few birds I'll never see in Ottawa.

Yes, limited time is definitely hard to work with! Lake Louise sure is a beautiful place, though. You'll just have to return and see more! There really is SO MUCH to see and do, in every season!
