Maybe some contact cleaner would help? I've used it on ham radios, etc., with no problems. Use at your own risk, of course, but I doubt a drop would hurt.....spray some on the tip of a clean screwdriver and let it drop into the crack of the switch and then work the switch back and forth several times. Just a thought. Ed

Hi, did you ever find a fix for this, my camera has the same problem right now and it's not just the on/off switch, the mode dial doesnt work properly too, my camera being the M50 mark ii

The Canon support web page for the T21 does not appear to provide any link to driver for T2i

Interestingly, the EOS Ultility is NOT offered when you say you have T2i, but it is offered when I tell it I have 7DII.
