Can someone identify this bird? It looks like a tricolored blackbird, but I'm in Georgia USA. Sorry to post a link but I can't seem to upload the photos.

I believe that this is a first-year Red-winged Blackbird. They can show quite a lot of yellow in their wing patch, plus you are so very far out of range.

It is a first year Red-winged Blackbird. Tricolored first year have almost no definable colors on the "shoulder" when perched.

Out of range for a Tricolored Blackbird. They are found almost exclusively in the west coast.

I'd say R.W.B. as well.

Zenfolio makes it easy to share on a forum, but it is a few steps;

How to:
Starting from the page in your first link above, notice to the right of the image, up top above the thumbnails, the word "share"?

- Click "Share"

A new box will open beneath that, with a lot of confusing options. For use on a forum, skip the top 3/4 of the box and down near the bottom underneath all the social media options;

- Click "> Get the embed code"

Now again, skip most of what's up top and at the bottom;
- Select (fill in the dot) "BB Code"

- Just above that you can chose what size option from the "Image Size" drop down menu.

- Now copy the text in the plain text field, and then paste that into a forum.

- Done.

I've never seen a RWBB with those colors on the west coast. Obviously the are born in Georgia, and fly to the west coast while turning "redder" :-):-)
