Canon EF to M4/3

Interested to try my Canon fit Laowa lens on my Olympus EM1; given the lens is fully manual with a manual aperture ring is there any good reason to spend big money on a Metabones adapter as against a cheap one with no auto link?
Assuming the latter does anyone have a recommendation?

I'm using the EF-Nex version of this adapter foe my Laowa clone lens. It works fine- they seem to do an EF to m4/3 version.

Thanks, I see Laowa do their own too but this is cheaper and probably made in the same factory.
