I have used Adorama Pix and have been pleased with the results.

Check out Bay Photo (external link), they are down near Santa Cruz. Shipping is very quick and they package well. I first started using them for my metal prints after seeing some gorgeous prints in a gallery in Moab and they told me they had them done at Bay Photo.

I recommend Adoramapix. . That's who I use, and they provide a great value. . They have a number of finishes available.

Adoramapix has site-wide sales regularly, where you can save anywhere from 15% to 30%. . I wait until such a sale, then submit my order. You can sign up for email notifications that alert you whenever there is such a sale.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Another vote for Bay Photo. They have special price email offers quite often. I've not done a metal print yet but have purchased many many metallic paper photo prints mounted on styrene. Always excellent packaging and very good shipping rates. They use a common ROES on-line ordering system like many other pro labs.

Is their software still absurdly user unfriendly, or have they improved it? I downloaded it a few years ago and found it highly resistant to my attempts to understand it.

That was my experience about 4 years ago.
I didn't want to spend a lot of time figuring out their s.w. so I moved on.

For their most common products you can just order through the website. I do believe that metal is included in that option. For more control and products you can use the ROES software. I had used other labs in the past that used ROES so I was already familiar with it. It's true that it isn't the most user friendly but it is pretty straight forward. I once did a calendar with some unusual layout options and when I had questions there were a few short video tutorials that were available.

Tried all services mentioned here and stuck with Millers Photo Lab. The free next day air shipping is a huge bonus.

I'm not a fan of companies that make me create an account in order to see their prices.

Ditto. If a company does not display prices openly I click off their site as fast as I can.

Miller's is a top notch company, I've used them for many years. While I agree it's a pain having to create an account to see prices, it's because they only deal with businesses and they are trying to create a sense of privacy of what we are paying for products when we plan on re-selling them. On the flip side, they offer "MPIX" for the consumer photographer, same parent company with no need to create an account to see pricing info.

If you have a sams club account, they do very good work at bargain prices and run special half off sales periodically.
