World Press Photo has announced their best of the year awards.
Do you have a favorite shot? I'm inclined towards the Nature 2nd Place and the Portraits Singles 1st.
Since many of these are news pictures we will all have to use care in staying far far away from all political comments and focus on the images. That's not only the rule here but also a general good for all of us. If you see a political note please report it and do not reply.
(These are all shots submitted for the 2018 contest. I don't know why WPP uses 2019 in the title. Perhaps they don't want to seem stale to viewers or search services?)
