I am the original owner of this camera. It was purchased in 2011 when it first came out. I have had the oil issue corrected recently and have the paperwork, if needed. It never did affect my camera, but, I had it fixed last year anyway. Currently, less than 30k on the shutter and the entire mirror assembly was replaced by Canon under recall service. They took care of it, really. I’ll be sad to see it go...it’s been with me for a long time and has so much more to go.

The camera has been babied, and I hardly ever sprayed and prayed. Battery still is 85% per the menu. Everything works as expected. I can provide more pics, if need be. I don’t even recall ever using the hotshoe...never needed a flash!
