Connecting Canon 5DmkIII To A Mobile Phone

Afternoon all,

Apologies - I did try to search for this but I never really seem to get much from searches here.

I have a Canon 5DmkIII and i'm looking to connect it to my mobile phone, so I can use the majority of the camera's features via the phone.

I can't see that this camera has wifi so I don't think I can use Canon Camera Connect.

I did come across something else called DSLR Controller but looks like that also needs a cable, to use, which isn't the end of the world, but if anyone is using this, i'd love some feedback before I buy an app.

So, any thoughts would be very much appreciated
