The local fishermen used to bring in the catch and hold a fish fry right here by the dock. That tradition was no longer done at the time my wife and I first started visiting the island in 2002, and now the building itself is gone. I always got a little bit hungry just thinking about those fresher than fresh grouper and mutton snappers sizzling in the pan.
