A few years ago I found a family of foxes and got some terrific shots. For the past 2 years they have had their families elsewhere, but I would occasionally see the adults wander through the area. This year, they decided to raise their family back where I first found them, and it's like Old Home Week! So far all I've seen is one kit, but Mom and Dad are both quite social.
1. The female. Of course, I call her Foxy.

Nice pictures, especially number 1 and 5. Did you have to crop them much?

Hardly any cropping at all. Some of these were shot at 1000mm but for others I had to remove the extender and shot at 500mm. Thanks very much!

Hey Steve, thanks very much. There's only one kit in this family but I'll be keeping an eye out. The Mom is limping seriously on her front right foot right now, I'm hoping it's not broken.

I sure do love seeing your fox photos Ian. Any improvement on Foxy's leg?

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
