X100F: New or Used?

The last new camera I bought for myself was an Olympus E-M10 back in 2014 and every other camera to follow came form forum sellers.

I want to buy a X100F, but not sure if I should buy used or pickup a new one.

That brown one is catching my eye, but have not seen one for sale used. Which ever one I do get it will be a silver one...

Would like to here your thoughts on this matter..

I've bought a lot of used gear from POTN members over the years here on the forum and have never had a bad experience and saved a lot of money to boot. If you find one for sale from an active member with good feedback/history, I wouldn't hesitate.

Just don't buy a used X-Pro2 from Lucas. I hear the shutter may be going.

I buy all my Fuji stuff used.

KEH.com generally has sales and you can get a used one with a 15~20% off coupon and a 180 day warranty and a bullet proof return without question policy.

My daughter bought hers used and it's worked perfectly for her. I just got mine; bought new from B&H. There was a guy selling one locally, but it was just the camera. He had no box, manual, nothing, and he wanted $1,000 for it...

Old thread, I know. Bought mine used from MPB.com, and I'd do it again. Also, the black one is the one to get. :^] Although if they put the brown grip on a black body I'd own that one.

I forgot all about this thread... I picked one up used shortly after this post off of FM. Love it..
