Not sure what kind of flowers these are. Took them during mid-day sun...

Nice, I love the vibrant colors. Make me long from spring even more...all we've got coming up is daffodills and a few dandilions which my son picks for me! LOL

ETA: #3 is my favorite, I like the angle of it so the blue flowers in the back show up too.

The #1 shot has the greater depth of field (DOF), so you get the greatest number of blossoms in the picture.

#2 is closer in and has a much reduced DOF and there are fewer blossoms in focus. Unfortunately, the ratio of in-focus objects to out-of-focus objects is a little low, so those in the background tend to be more of a distraction than complement to the ones in the foreground.

#3 seems to be the best image because the in-focus blossoms dominate and the background is more interesting due to the additional colors. In fact, as Sue says, above, the blue flowers really give the picture a much higher level of interest.

I would respectfully remind you that the forum guidelines call for a maximum of 800 pixels along the largest dimension. The purpose of that, I believe, is to make sure that images fit on everone's screen without scrolling.

Very nice shots with excellent exposure and color balance. The lighting in #3 is the more interesting, in my opinion, although it is good in all 3.

Beautiful shots; the first and thrid are best IMO. My first thought was that the first picture would make a really good desktop background.

Sorry about the size. I'll re-size them tomorrow.

Originally I was standing up taking pictures. I bent down to change my lens and realized a different world from the flower's perspective.

I was leaning more to number 2 but yes your right the blue in the back really makes it nice

Ahah!

Discovery!

Isn't it wonderful to find a different perspective?

Notice carefully what the difference is in the lighting. In #3 the light is coming through the blossom from inside to outside. That gives them an entirely different appearance, doesn't it?

Absolutely. I erased the few shots I took standing up and re-shot down at the flower's level.
