how to save my images to send to clients for review

If I do a photoshoot, what format do you use to save your images for view? I don't want the clients to be able to print the photos or save themselves. I read somewhere you save them so the clients can't do anything with them except see them...any advice is appreciated

Use the soft proof option in Photoshop CC if you use Adobe suite along with a watermark to prevent from printing.

Yeap, just add a new layer to the jpeg, add some text (PROOF or whatever) across the image, merge, and save. To avoid doing this to each file, one at a time, create a new action in PS, record the steps, and then, batch process the remaining open files. Easy, breezy.

I don't use Photoshop, I use Lightroom

In the LR print module, use the Watermark feature and print to a JPEG.

There is no way to do what you want. Put simply it is impossible to stop a determined person from saving the image or removing the watermark (unless you make it so big and opaque that it basically ruins the image).

The correct approach, if you don't trust your clients, is to get paid up front (or at least a substantial deposit).
