Heavily used Promaster ballhead with 4 plates. I got this ballhead in a package I bought and I already own a Benro ballhead/tripod combo. This ballhead has signs of heavy use with markings/scratches. It also has what appears to be a small broken piece of metal on the bottom side of the plate's base(I have an image of it). And because of this, there is play between the plate and the shaft going to the ball. It does, however, hold a camera in place. I spent some time with it with a 40D, 35f2is and a speedlite on top and it locked down and never slipped. I wouldn't, however, purchase this if you are planning on moving the camera around on the ballhead repeatedly. I think this should be fine for someone with a small mirrorless and small lens taking landscape or maybe waterfall/slow shutter type images. Definitely needs to be a light setup. I believe these are only rated to 6.5lbs.
I personally am not a fan of these types of ballheads/tripod connections. I much prefer the arca plate style. But I figured I'd throw it up on here and see if anyone was interested.
