I was campin with a buddy of mine and that just happen to have that view and just happen to have set it up in the direction of the N. Star. Totally lucked out!

It's Smith Rock State Park in Central Oregon btw.

The top one is Paradise Park on Mt. Hood @ Sunset, enjoy the night hike back... it's longer than it looks on the map!!!

The bottom one is Mt. Jefferson from Park butte, looking south.
