Mule deer fawn

Was pretty cool just to see this little mule deer fawn much less get a photo of it. Mom had just crossed in front of me, and junior here, stop a second to give me a look. Than they were gone. Timing is everything a lot of the times. Check out those eyes.:-)

Nice shot Terry, so they are born with the Mule Deer looks it seems. I have not seen a live one before and not recalling many photos of Mule Deer fawns either. I saw my first for the season Whitetail twins yesterday and as you said, timing can be everything, well my timing was off with camera at home and me on my way to work,:-(
