I do a few sessions every year for my senior models- one of the favorites this year has been the "Vintage Glamor" shoot. I was trying for an old school Hollywood feel- hard light, contrasty B&W conversions and some vintage props all came together for this one. I brought in hair and makeup artists also- who really made a big difference.

C&C always welcome!

Keep working on your lighting! Research butterfly lighting, loop lighting and George Hurrell! Here's a shot I did with some cheap work lights and led bulbs, notice the emphasis on shadows!
PS, I also think glamour images should have a refined retouch.

I love b&w, and the first shot is def a keeper!! I think you "nailed" what you described you were shooting for.
Second shot? While you have a very pretty subject, and it's a good shot, IMO, there are two things that are distracting...... the huge "dark" shadow cast by her nose, and what appears to be two "hotspots" on her forehead and cheek. Minor stuff that prevents a good image from being a great image. Again, JMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Great shot... looks like a 40's movie still!

You definitely have good shots but you have to practice lighting a little more, but for the rest you have a good idea in hand.
