Hi all, I recently changed from a Canon setup (430ex rt and 600ex rt) to a Sony setup with Flashpoint(godox) TT685S x 2. I've gotten them setup without much issue as they seem to work fairly similar to my old setup. My only point of confusion at the moment is setting up flash power in TTL.

In my previous setup I would set the slave flash to group B and the master defaulted to group A. I could then setup a ratio between the two to balance lighting direction such as a 4:1 ratio between my two flashes.

Now the Godox/Flashpoint flash just has a an Ev setting for each group. The master flash appears to be separate from the slave. I have the slave set up to group A.

Now how does this work? If I have each group set up to 0eV does that mean the output will be overexposed because each flash is trying to light the scene properly and sum total of the two is overexposed? Is there a way to make sense of this system to set a ratio between the two for proper exposure?
