I found this very interesting, particularly as Canon isn't much known for
for tinkering with such casual image-grabbers. I'm posting to Rumors section
because indications are that it's not even a full-on crowdsource campaign,
but just a teaser.

Come to think on it now, as it's a crowdfunder, it may even be a hoax.
This would likely be Canon's first-ever crowdfunding thing, if true.

?Who knows??

Wow.
It seems this thing is MUCH larger than a thumb drive.
Jake's link to DPReview led me to another link (external link) in the comments, showing this in the slideshow.
I really can't imagine how anyone sees the comparison to typical flash drives.

Would be nice for amusement and water parks.... keep the phone in a locker and instead shoot with this.
