GPU: EVGA - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB XC ULTRA
RAM: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32 GB
PSU: SeaSonic - PRIME Titanium 850
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-C14S ***edit it’s now the Noctua NH-U9S***
SSD: Samsung - 970 Evo Plus 1 TB *main drive*
Intel - 660p Series 2.048 TB *storage drive*
Samsung - 850 Pro Series 512 *gaming drive*
Case: CaseLabs Bullet BH7 ATX ** got it back before they went out of business **

Bummer -? looking like the cpu cooler is going to cover up the top PCIe slot. I ordered a different cooler on amazon and it should be here Sunday. Don’t you just hate road blocks lol.

Bummer! I get annoyed by unexpected roadblocks like that! It’s very frustrating so I feel for you. Hopefully, you won’t encounter anymore stumbling blocks ahead.

Front fans and Psu installed. Cable management looks like it’s going to be fun lol.

It looks pretty cramped in there! How are you going to route the PSU cables for the MOBO from underneath the MOBO to the top of the board where they plug in? From near the front of the case?

Is there access from below the board to get to the SSD without having to remove the board once everything is assembled?

Not to sure yet as how I’m going to route the cables yet. As I installed more components, I hope the picture will be come more clear. You can get to the ssd from the bottom of the case. The hdd cage is fastened to a plate on the bottom of the case that can be removed to gain access to hdd and underside of the motherboard tray.

New cooler and fan came in today. Going to run the cooler in a push pull setup.

Got the cooler installed. Had to install it twice because I put it in facing the wrong way the first time *facepalm lol*
Also installed the motherboard onto the motherboard tray. I have the board sitting in the case only for photos and to keep it out of the way until I get a chance to start working on it again.

Nice build!

Any plans to over clock the 8700?
I have mine running all 6 cores at 4.8 currently. It will do 4.9 but is a little bit warm, and at 5 it was getting far to hot.

Thank you sir. I’m not sure if I’ll get into over clocking it or not. I’ll probably leave it at stock speeds for now and maybe in the future play with over clocking a bit.

Made a little bit more progress today. I got most of it pretty much wired up. Just about ready to power it up. :-D

Been out of the loop for awhile. What’s some good benchmarking and stress testing software to run?

I’m a scrooge so I like to get freebies whenever I can. LOL. I downloaded Cinebench which can benchmark your CPU and GPU. (https://www.maxon.net/en/support/downloads/ (external link))

BTW, I have to say that the case you used for your build is rather unique. I’m more used to seeing cases that look like towers either standing or on its side. But yours is the first I’ve seen that looks like a cube! :-D

Congrats on your successful build! :-)

Been running a benchmarks and so far everything seems to be stable. I love having all Ssd's. Everything is so fast and responsive. Ran prime 95 and the highest temp I saw was 76C. I'm very happy with how the build has turned out. I plan on using it for a few weeks before turning on XMP to make sure everything is Stable. A few Photos of the finished PC.

That's a handsome build; liking that case a lot.

I have one question, and please understand, it's genuine:
What do you get from having it lit up six different ways to Sunday?

I simply don't grasp the desire to have it lit up like a ballpark
during a night game. If I want my room's light low, I want
ALL the light to be low, not just traditional lamps.

I do understand the "cool" look-factor, but doesn't the novelty get old?
I've also read reports of various product lights varying in hue/intensity
after some time; it may well happen with your components.

The motherboard comes with LED lighting that you can control (i.e. different colors, flashing colors, rainbow colors, etc.) . In my case, the GPU card also comes with variable LED lights as does the CPU liquid cooler although the color is not variable on the cooler. I even installed an LED strip to subtly illuminate the interior of the case.

I initially kept the LED lights turned on because of, as you said, the cool factor and the fact that I like it but I now have them turned off because my PC is now situated where I can no longer see the lights. But if that were not the case, I would still have them lit up now. Why? Cuz I like them lit up! To each his own! ;-)a
