Never knew what their name was so thank you. We have them all over right now. I've managed to get a few snaps but nothing quite as crisp as yours. Very nicely done.

I usually see them eating or procreating. About half of my photos involve 2 lol.

Just my luck, I was able to photograph one yesterday eating from a flower. The smaller the insect, the less likely they seem to flee. I have a heck of a time trying to capture a decent photo of a dragonfly.
