Fixed-Lens Photo Challenge #038: Subject: What's Your Angle?
_______________

This week’s topic: This week's challenge is to show me an angle or angles. Angles exist in nature, in architecture, in and around the house, in products, etc. Make your angle (or angles) the focus of your photo and/or describe it in your title. So "What's Your Angle?"

As always great composition and exposure will carry the day!

_______________

Remember, if you post a photo, you may be the winner. Be prepared to host and judge a new challenge.

To submit, click the button labeled "POST TO THREAD" and put your photo title in the first line of the post, above your photo. Your camera brand and model must appear in the post. Include additional EXIF data, if you like.

Enter just one photo.

Post until Monday noon GMT, 22 July 2019.

Four well executed entries this week makes my job as judge very difficult! I like them all. But rules are rules so rank them I must!

OldCrow (Don) - Angled: Very interesting composition with many angles and shadows. I like it!

Stiga (Martin) - Hugh Miller's Cottage, Cromarty: Love the angled shot of the high pitched roof.

OhLook - Confusing Angles: Confusing indeed but angles everywhere!

M_Six (Don) - Down: Converging liner into infinity angles and the pictures on the walls are an angle plus!

And the winners are:

1st Place goes to OldCrow with the caveat that he explains what pray tell is this a photo of! :-)
2nd Place goes to OhLook for the very confusing windows!

So, over to you Don for the next challenge!

and, I must note that our feisty little band is growing ever smaller...I had hoped that this simple drill would draw more participants :p

Thanks Jim. Great photos everyone.

My photo came from an inside crop of a Christmas ornament.

Congratulations to Don; that was an imaginative use of the ornament. Thanks to Jim for second place and for making those hard decisions.

Mine might be called "That's the last time I hire an unlicensed contractor," but the real story is that it's inside a large salvage business where things are stacked or hung wherever they fit. The background is two-dimensional, made of many boards.
