Always learn something new, that's what I told myself. I don't technically shoot much, if any, astronomy related images. This was my first attempt at something like this and since I happened to be in a place where light pollution was not horrible, I decided to give it a whirl.
Took a bunch of shots for this one (32, I think) and used starstax to work it's magic. After multiple layers of adjustments of my own, this is what I came up with. Regardless of anything, it was a 'fun' exercise (and a couple of cold, late nights) that resulted in some cool memories as I watched, while the camera took the images.
Kudos to you all that can go out in the middle of nowhere at night, by yourself, to get some awesome images...it's creepy out there!

Oh, and please, feel free to let me know how to improve, other tips/tricks/nuances, etc. I'm more than open to it. Always more to learn.
