Would you be willing to trade away buttons for a larger screen? Would you accept a larger/wider camera body to have a larger screen? The rear LCD growth seems to have stalled at 3 inches.

I only use the rear screen to go through the menu's, so it's size is of no importance to me.

For me, anytime I need a larger screen I'll shoot tethered. THe current size seems right to me for %90 of what I need the rear screen for.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I only use the back screen for checking menu items and doing spot checks on exposure, histogram etc.

For my shooting requirements, the bigger the buttons the better. I need to be able to hit the buttons from muscle memory, and in colder weather this gets even harder (gloves or freezing fingers and thumbs)

I need buttons for those things I want to access and change while looking into the viewfinder. As we move more and more to an EVF, the greater the need for these buttons, because EVF can do much more than what the old OVF could do. You don't want to be hitting the rear screen for functions/features that you can hit a button and change things while looking into the EVF.

In fact I turn off my rear LCD on my M50, and do everything in the viewfinder. That means I need buttons, bigger ones in fact.
