AD200 with 200W power at iso100 is like 800W @ iso400, so raise the ISO to gain flash power you need.

You can do a quick test like lens at 24mm, F8, iso400, at the distance you need (25 feet?), with the modifier you will use to see if the power is adequate.

Personally I like umbrella for big group shot.

Raising ISO to "increase the power" of the strobe will increase the power of of ambient an equal amount. Zero sum gain.

I don't think you have commented on what ambient is going to look like, but you are certainly going to need to balance flash and ambient.

Ambient is going to be dark. Indoors with high ceilings and dim lighting.

That will be much more difficult with a single light source and shadowing. :(

I think you will want to either get the light (or hopefully lights) up pretty high and far enough away to reduce shadowing, or bounce flash.
