Ths is a female Cheetah named Fusili and one of her 2 cubs (male and a female). She's a regular in the Seronora valley in the Serengeti. Unlike the the Serengeti Cheetahs, she does not migrate to follow the Thompson Gazelles to the south at this time of year. She's an older cat at 9 years of age.
That added stress of staying in Seronora and having less prey has made her susceptible to Mange which has transferred over to the cubs. You you can see on their ears. I and our guide thought the cubs were about 6 months old. I've been told by an NGO in the area, CheetahWatch, that they are much older. The mange infection has probably stunted their growth.
