I am the only owner of this camera, I purchased it brand new from B&H in New York back in December, so it still has 5 more months with its warranty from Canon USA.

Comes with everything as new. The battery, charger, unopened neck strap, box, manuals, CD's, receipt from B&H.

Condition: It has had a LCD protector on both the back and top LCD's since day 1, so the screens have not a single scratch or flaw. The body does have some small scuffs here and there, but nothing major at all. I would rate it a good 8-9/10

Shutter count as of today : 12,740 (This can change depending how long it takes to sell, but I will not being using this camera for work, so if it does change, I see no way it going past 13,000)

Price: $1900 via Paypal or $1800 via Chase QuickPay. That is total, that includes all Paypal fees and shipping inside the United States......You do NOT need a Chase bank account to pay me that way, you just need any US based bank account

Payments Accepted: Paypal, Chase QuickPay, or Cash if you want to meet me in central New Jersey.

Reason for selling: I am selling this, as well as a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS III, a 2X Extender III, and a Really Right Stuff (RRS) L-Bracket. Everything was purchased 7 months ago for a project, that just ended, so I have no need for any of this gear anymore. It was all taken extremely well care of while in use, and works 100% without any issues at all.

P.S. Sorry for the bad photos, I took this my cellphone.

The warranty is not transferable, read the manual, warranty card and Canon website.

Canon will always fix a US camera in the US regardless of whose name is on the receipt. As long as it's purchased from an authorized dealer and falls within the warranty period. It has ALWAYS been this way regardless of their policy. If that were the case you could never buy a gift for someone. Not only that, but if it was purchased when Canon was offering Carepak that is 100% transferable.

While technically true. I can not see anyway that if someone brought a genuine Canon USA product into Canon service for repair, and had the original receipt and warranty card, that Canon would deny coverage.

I have been shooting Canon full time for 15 years, I have only had to send in 2 pieces of gear over that time. A lens (100mm) and a flash (600RT), that were both wayyyy out of warranty, over 2 years. And Canon fixed both for free! No questions asked! They didn't ask me for any documents at all. And the total bill was $0

I was curious and googled it. This site tops the search results. Albeit from 2008.

Yea seems nothing has changed in 11 years LOL

And in my 2 personal experiences, they didn't ask me for any paperwork at all. Didn't want to see my receipt or warranty card, and fixed my 2 items that were out of warranty free of charge!

Canon for me has hands down the best customer service in the photography business.

I know for a fact too that they repair Grey Market cameras as well (Something Nikon does Not do)

Also Canon gear is super reliable, I've had 2 issues in 15 years! So in all likelihood the warranty is a mute point for the sale.

Also if matters, I realize now anyway, when I purchased this camera back in December, it came with a CarePak, that I believe extended the warranty to 16 months total.

GLWS. It's a great price. Not so sure I would sell mine at that price. Now I have to because of you! LOL
