do i take the 50 f1.4 or 100 f2.8 L?

ultimate destination is Fairbanks Alaska. I dont know how much photography dedicated days ill have in the 2 weeks (were delivering my daughter and a vehicle, to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks then flying home)...

im tempted to leave the macro home because im NOT taking a tri-pod with me and ive not had super results with it (still perfecting techniques) but im stuck for room. i could leave the speedlite out and have room for both lenses, although the 50 doesnt get a lot of use either...

-im just trying. sometimes i succeed

I’ve been to Alaska on multiple occasions and truthfully, with that gear list, I’d leave both the 50mm and 100mm at home. You have the full range from 24mm out to 280mm covered (counting the 1.4X), and with f/2.8 lenses to boot. This time of year anticipate a fair amount of cloudy weather, rain and winds.
