I'm sort of collecting old cameras I've used over the last half century.
For about three years, I used a couple of Topcon Super Dm cameras before upgrading to Canon F-1.
I've been haunting eBay off and on for several years for one in halfway decent condition, but I'm amazed that they're holding value even better than Canon F-1 cameras. They were never that popular when they were on the market--they were generally known as the third "system" camera after the Nikon F and the Canon F-1, but were less popular than Pentax, Olympus, or Minolta.
I enjoyed using mine, but I was hankering after some wide and fast lenses (f/2.8 being fast in those days), and the Topcon would be forever hamstrung in that area by its tiny Exacta lens mount.
But it's incredible how expensive those puppies are on the used market.
