Does your disclaimer mean that you are not guaranteeing the camera works properly?

I am simply saying that, as far as I know, the camera is working properly at the time when I ship it. However, if anything happens to the camera, say, a few days after the buyer receives it I cannot offer a warranty.

Interested in the camera, but that is a pass for me. Everyone buying on here understands that used cameras come with no warranty when purchased from an individual. The fact that you are pointedly saying it works "as far as I know" seems shady, or at least odd. Or maybe you are just in lawyer-mode. It's working properly or it isn't.

I started write this disclaimer on my ads because I had an interesting experience selling locally on Craigslist. One guy purchased something from me after testing it and making sure it was OK. Then he turned around and wanted to return it for a refund after a month claiming it did not work anymore. Unfortunately, not everybody understands that buying a used camera and lens from an individual seller comes with no warranty. Having said that, I can assure you that the camera that I am selling is working properly. If you buy it and find any issues with it upon arrival, I will gladly take it back and refund you.
