Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM

I am the first and only owner of this lens. Bought this new from Calumet. The 135mm and 85mm prime L lenses are the perhaps the two most magical lenses in the Canon lineup. It breaks my heart to sell this one. Almost indistinguishable from new. The only signs of use that I can see are very faint rub marks on the hood if you look very carefully. This is great news that some folks are flooding the market with Canon lenses. The RF system is so awesome with adapted glass, I'm presently shopping for deals on extra EF glass to adapt alongside my EF glass. Prices are getting a bit easier to scarf-up the Canon glass. With the exception of the 135mm which never seems to budge.

I already have the 85mm 1.2 mk ii though. Almost sold it until a review by one Travis Harris on Youtube spared me selling it. He was getting nearly 100% hit rate for focus, way better than his 1 DX.. This could be a great lens of an EOS owner not quite wanting to spend $2600 on the next RF 85 that's on it's way.

When shopping for Tilt Shift lenses last night, it hit me how far ahead Canon is for a full collection of great native glass. Already got $4K saved for the next RF body, with no reluctance.

This was one of my recents with this 85mm adapted to the EOS R under 300 ft. of redwood canopy.

This lens is truly magical. The bokeh, the sharpness, the image quality, I could go on and on. Whoever buys it is a lucky person.
