World Elephant Day (I know... it's late)

World Elephant Day was August 12, 2019. I ended up a bit busy but wanted to get these up to honour these amazing, wonderful animals. Hopefully in the time of our children and theirs, they will still exist in the wild.

The WWF estimate that around 20,000 African elephants are being killed each year for their ivory - that's an average of 55 a day. Say no to Ivory. It belongs on wild animals, not on a mantle or your jewellery!

Something about Elephants that makes them so amenable to a B/W treatment.... Hope you like them... I love these beautiful giants.

Nice series. #5 is amazing that they can eat acacia thorns.
